These terms govern your use of the SunBill website ("the Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. Service description

SunBill provides a free, independent solar + battery savings calculator for Australian households, plain-English rebate information, and a free quote-request service that connects you with up to 3 solar installers. No account is needed to use the calculator or read our guides.

2. General information only

All figures, estimates and savings projections on this site are general information only — not financial, investment or product advice. They are estimates based on published averages and stated assumptions. Your actual costs and savings will differ. Always obtain quotes and advice tailored to your property before making a purchase decision.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• misuse the Service, including submitting false or misleading information;
• attempt to disrupt, scrape at unreasonable rates, or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
• use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

4. Quote requests

Submitting a quote request with your express consent authorises us to share your contact details with up to 3 solar installers so they can provide quotes. Quotes are provided by independent third-party installers; we do not guarantee their pricing, availability, quality of work, or that any installer will contact you.

5. Intellectual property

The content on this site (text, design, calculator logic) is owned by or licensed to SunBill. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce or redistribute our content without permission.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SunBill excludes liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service — including estimates, rebate information and installer introductions. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

7. Third-party links and installers

The Service may reference third-party installers, programs and websites. We are not responsible for their content, products or services.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
